U19 World Cup 2026: In the Under-19 World Cup 2026, Team India’s middle-order batsman Vihan Malhotra (109 not out; 107 balls, 7 fours) shone with a century. In the Super Six match against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, Vihan’s century helped India, who batted first after losing the toss, post a massive score. They scored 352 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs. This set Zimbabwe a daunting target of 353 runs.

Among the other Indian batsmen, Abhigyan Kundu (61; 62 balls, 5 fours, 1 six) and opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi (52; 30 balls, 4 fours, 4 sixes) scored half-centuries. Aaron George (23), Ayush Mhatre (21), Ambarish (21), and Vedant Trivedi (15) also made decent contributions. For Zimbabwe, Chimugoro took three wickets, while Panashe Majai and Simbarashe claimed two wickets each. Dhruv Patel took one wicket.
